When I first got a camera, I took pictures for pleasure, usually out of car windows.
I took my camera with me everywhere.
I developed an obsession for photography. I can remember the exact moment.
Currently, I am working on maintaining and developing the aspects of my work that I find important: optimism and quiet observation.

I may be biased, b/c Cortlandt is my cousin, but her work is amazing. It’s difficult to explain how her pictures make me feel, but maybe that’s just it-her pictures actually make me feel something, and each one in a different way. But that is something I can’t say about other people’s work.
